1980년 2월 22일 부산광역시무형문화재 제6호 부산농악으로 지정되면서 걸립농악이 가미된 연희농악으로 구성되 어 있다. 강인함과 부드러운 춤이 가미된 경상도 지방의 특색을 잘 나타내는 농악으로 춤사위가 다양하고 덧배기 장 단이 많이 삽입되어 있고 상쇠놀이 상모와 벅구놀이, 설장구 기능이 뛰어나며 특히 북놀이의 춤사위와 북가락 기교 가 일품으로 지방색을 잘 나타내고 있다.

Busan Nongak was designated as Busan city’s intangible cultural asset No. 6 on Feb. 22 1980. It is made up of ‘Yeonhwi’ nongak a little mixed with Geulrip nongak.　It, as a type of fBusan Nongak containing both powerful and supple dance movements and showing the regional features of Gyeongsang Province well, has various dance movements and many rhythms of deotbaegi(free-style dance), and shows excellent performances like sangsoe-nori(ggwaenggwari, a leading small-bronze- gong player’s solo performance), sangmo-nori(performance of twirling a long ribbon attached to the top center of the band member’s hat), beokgu-nori(solo playing of a small hand drum) and seoljanggu(playing the ‘jang-gu’, an hourglass-shaped drum in the standing position). Especially buk- nori(drum performance), of which the dance movements and the drum rhythm are outstanding in the skill, shows the regional unique features well.
